Specifications on a provider's website only tell part of the story. To better evaluate NovProxy's residential proxy quality, we tested it using IPFighter, Speedtest, and a quick Google location check to examine its IP reputation, connection speed, and geolocation accuracy.

5.1. Preparation

After configuring the residential proxy with United States, Alabama, the IP information shown on IPFighter matched the selected location correctly. Since the proxy was configured with only the country (US) and state (Alabama) while the city was left random, the provider could assign any residential IP within Alabama. Different platforms also rely on different geolocation databases, so slight differences at the city level are common. Overall, the proxy location still matches the configured target region and there are no obvious signs of incorrect geolocation.
