What does a proxy checker test?
A proxy checker verifies whether each proxy is working and how much it actually hides. For every proxy it reports the exit IP and its location, whether the connection succeeds, the response speed, and the anonymity level — how much of your real identity the proxy leaks to the destination site.
Proxy anonymity levels
- Transparent — forwards your real IP in headers, so the site sees both the proxy and your true IP. Offers no privacy.
- Anonymous — hides your real IP but still signals that a proxy is in use.
- Elite (high anonymity) — reveals neither your real IP nor that a proxy is being used, so it looks like a normal visitor.
